SAFARI

Imagine that a client wants to take a safari tour in Africa.

Search this website and write an e-mail giving him advice about:

Visas, Children, clothes, currency (what is the currency in the countries he/she will visit), baggage, water, health and medication, and the weather. Use modals in affirmative and negative; must, should, can, have to, etc. You can also use recommend, and avoid

Now answer these quetions:

  1. What countries are advertised in the site? What are the capitals of these countries?
  2. What does the word "game" refer to in a safari?
  3. What "game" can you see in Kenya?
  4. In what country can you see Gorillas?
  5. In what country can you visit the "Serengeti"?
  6. What kind of animal is a wildbeest?
  7. What is your favorite african wild animal?
Explore the parks and reserves in Kenya and Tanzania. Which one do you recommend and why.

There are two possibilities for the Partial 2 project:

  1. Design a bus tour of San Luis Potosí, the duration of the tour must last approximately 4 hours. You have to include the city's must important landmarks and sights with an explanation and pictures of each one. You can also include typical restaurants and souvenir shops.
  2. Compare different alternative cities in the "bajio" to organize a UVM-GLION students convention. Analyze the different attractions and facilities each city has to offer and make a presentation of the city you selected.

Work in teams and decide the topic and start getting the information you will need.
